Liquid sampling syringes are designed for injection of small volumes into gas chromatographs. Since the sample is completely inside the needle, it is completely displaced by the piston. Any sample residue or change in sample volume is minimized. The heavy-duty design of the purge and capture syringes helps to avoid replacement costs and injury due to breakage. The piston tip made of primary Teflon subjected to stress molding is self-lubricating and durable, and the heavy-duty rear flange with a flat side keeps the syringe from rolling.
